Happy New Year

01 Jan, 2013

You only had to be at the Journée de Ressourcement at Marie’s on 28 July, or at Open Door on the 11th December to realise how important MSCM has become in the lives of so many during the past 13 years.

This is not inspite of, but in fact because of the increasing challenges for restorative justice in our society, especially in the present political climate.

In 2013, there will no doubt be more challenges as support for chaplaincy services in our prisons is reduced, but MSCM is in this for the long haul and with the help of you, me and all our members and friends we will adapt and improve our life together, meet the challenges head-on and nourish our community to the best of our ability.

Wishing you all a happy and peaceful New Year and one that is filled with justice for all.

Peter Huish
